Any one on here ever bounced back from bad credit?

I'm just wondering if there is anyone who would like to share their story about how they rebounded from bad credit. Were you able to do anything about your credit score with negative items on there, and were you able to get a house if you once had bad credit? I'm looking for anything like this. i did it,but it's not easy. it was almost like a 2nd job! my credit score was 350.



i got copies of all my credit reports,%26amp; read them until i understood them. then i figured out what to pay off-what could i afford,what would fall off soon on it's own. i spent around 1000$ on this.



then i got a secured c.c. with a 200$ deposit. every month,i bought something small %26amp; paid it off.



after 8-9 months,someone sent me an unsecured card w/ a 250$ limit %26amp; a yearly fee,but no deposit.. i took it.



over time,i got better offers with higher limits %26amp; no fees.



6 years later,i have a card w/ a 14,000$ limit %26amp; a credit score of 826.



Any one on here ever bounced back from bad credit?
not me, i have a bankruptcy and an eviction--BUT-my sis n bro in law have and are great now. they had a bk 3 yrs ago n how they did it was got secured credit cards. the kind where u get them charged up right away...they had 2 of those...now they have 3 credit cards, real ones with high limits, they own a home and just bought a new car n are doing financially very well!! u can do it to. my lawyer told me a great was to start is get a secured card n use it just for gas n pay it in full every month
