My mortgage company helped me to write letters of explanation for some of the negative items on my report. They also assisted me in contacting the reporting parties for other items which had been resolved but not posted as such. Talk to a mortgage company about getting pre-approved,and they will give you the best advice.

Although FHA does not have a min credit score requirement, it does require an established history of willingness and ability to repay a mortgage loan. Adverse credit within the last 12months may cause a negative impact. I am unaware of a loan available with bad credit, at least in todays ';credit crunch';. Sorry, I wish I could be more help.
