How can I get a student loan with no co-signer and bad credit?

I'm going to community college, and I need a student loan for about $3,000 to $4,000 dollars to pay for classes, a laptop, and housing, and possibly transportation. I have no cosigner, pretty bad credit due to past due things (that have been paid off) and I dont qualify for grants or scholarships, as my parents make too much money and I am no longer anywhere near higschool (I'm 20 and graduated early). Please help!!!! Thank you in advance. How can I get a student loan with no co-signer and bad credit?
You'd have to be an illegal immagrant and go to Bank Of America. They'd give you a loan and a credit card. How can I get a student loan with no co-signer and bad credit?
Fill out a FAFSA...it is for grants and low interest loans through the government..You'll get the help you need, just have your tax info handy...
Ask your parents for help! Good Grief!! they should be willing to make your life better than theirs since they're screwing you up by making too much money for loans!!
Subisdized student loans not based on credit. Not are Non-subisized however you have to pay the interest immediately. The only down side is the forms were due June 30th for fall.

Find your local Community College or University ASAP and start the process, they have a fleet of people to guide you. In your 20's a degree is the most important thing you can complete (more important than a good job or even getting married).

Waiting will guarantee you a career (eventually, give it enough time) at the local conivenent store. Don't wait.
You will not need a co-signer for a federal student loan only for private student loans. You qualify for just being a student enrolled in college.

Go to:

http://fafsa.ed.gov and fill out the Free Application for Student Aid.

Then go to your Financial Aid Office at your College and talk to them. They will help you.

There are a couple of types of loans that are not based on your credit and will help you get college funding.

1) Stafford Loans-subsidized and unsubsidized. With this particular loan it is funded through your school and you will not have to pay for it until you graduate--YOU DO HAVE TO PAY IT BACK--but the subsidized student loan, the government will pay your loan interest while you are attending school, and the unsubsidized gives you the option to pay the interest while in school. Or defer it until after graduation. the combination of these loans allows you to borrow $7500 for your freshman year, and $8500 for your sophomore year. That should get ya started.

2) Federal Perkins loans--is the lowest interest rate offered around 5%, and the government pays the interest while you are in school. This loan only goes to the students that have the greatest financial need, and it is determined through the school, and the school is who you pay back.

Go to fafsa.ed.gov, or www.ed.gov to find out more information regarding the types of loans, apply for loans and see what all is offered to students.
