If you are unemployed, have a 270K house and can't cover your bills, the LAST thing you need is another debt. Your best bet would be a home equity line of credit or HELOC.
Well, let me ask you a question. How long have you been unemployed and where do you think your credit is? I'm a mortgage broker so there maybe something out there for you. If you include all your bills in with your current mortgage you can eliminate your debts pay off some credit cards and build your score within 6 months.
